Hello and welcome the official "Joanne is 40" blog site! I have to admit here that yes this is my sister and yes I am a LITTLE bit older than she is....hence this site....she gave me an amazing 40th birthday suprise I will never forget. I am of course just returning the favour!
I am new to blogging and will be tweaking it as I learn so if you have any comments or additions you would like to contribute then please feel free email me at top right hand side.

As you can see, even way back in the day Jo was wearing designer clothing... designed and handmade by our devoted mum...the best dressed kids in town!

Dancing Queen!......
All those of you having the pleasure of knowing Jo will have at some point seen her hit the dancefloor with her special kinda groove......with the aid of a funky tune and one or six spritzers! I am sure that the ballroom dance classes that we both attended in our coutoured gowns and silver sandals really paid off (thanks mum)!
Of course you have to remember that there are two sides to the party animal..... there is the side you all see whilst out at the works do, hen-night, birthday bash or a regular night out with the girls (the reserved ladylike Jo)......Then there is the "let your hair down" side to Jo that is strictly behind closed doors with four empty wine bottles (between us!) and dancing till the birds sing!
You have to understand that I am simply sharing the pictures of such evenings to show you that in future whilst out on the razz with Jo you get to see her potential and with a little encouragement towards the dancefloor can from now on result in a cracking night out!

Remember at 40, life begins,
And the best is yet to come!!
So CELEBRATE your 40's,
You’ve achieved an awful lot
,A beautiful family, a beautiful home,
And a sister that loves you a lot!
